1. About us

Mark Thompson (Leeds) Ltd is a company registered in England and Wales. Our registered address is 105b New Road Side, Horsforth, Leeds LS18 4QD. VAT registration number: GB4203847.

2. Quotes & estimates

All written quotes are valid for 30 days from the date issued. Verbal estimates are indicative only. A formal written quote will be provided before any significant work commences. Prices are subject to change if the scope of work changes once work has begun.

3. Booking & cancellation

We ask for reasonable notice if you need to cancel or reschedule a booked appointment. Cancellations made with less than 24 hours' notice may incur a call-out charge to cover engineer time. We reserve the right to charge for parts ordered specifically for your job that cannot be returned.

4. Payment

Payment is due on completion of work unless otherwise agreed in writing. Overdue invoices may be subject to interest and recovery costs in line with the Late Payment of Commercial Debts Act 1998.

5. Our work

All work is carried out by our own Gas Safe registered engineers to a high standard.

6. Access & site conditions

You are responsible for ensuring clear access to the area where work is to be carried out. If access is not available on the agreed date, a call-out charge may apply. We will take reasonable care to protect your property and will clean up after ourselves, but we are not liable for pre-existing damage or deterioration uncovered during the course of work.

7. Limitation of liability

Our liability to you is limited to the value of the work carried out. We are not liable for any indirect or consequential losses. Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer.

8. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
